Dog is Good | Clever hats, mugs, tees, pj's & cards for dog-lovers

The clever folks at Dog is Good have invented a new word - Dogvergnügen (prounounced dawg' feh-gnu-gen), defined as "The unique joy you feel in the presence of Dog" and the inspiration for all Dog is Good products.

We found a bounty of gifts for dog-lovers on the Dog is Good website all adorned with sayings that had us ROTFLOL, including, "It's all fun and games until someone ends up in a cone " accompanied by the silhouette of a pup in a Elizabethan collar (see card, above). 

The tee-shirts are adorable and Jessica commented on how über soft they are. And, if you purchase an "I like big mutts" t-shirt, hoodie, tank, tote or mug, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to an animal rescue program!

Video Review | Petprojekt Dogring

I'm going to contact Merriam-Webster and inform them that they need to replace their definition for the word 'cool' with a link to the Petprojekt website. Seriously, I think I have actually fallen in love with a pet product company...

When I first put the purple 'Bella' bowl down, Ms. Bella was very interested.  She took right to it and it very quickly became her favorite water bowl.  Purple is her favorite color, and being the princess that she is, she loves anything with her name on it.  She really likes scooping up the water with her paw and drinking it that way.

Castor & Pollux - Good Buddy Rawhide Braided Sticks and Curls

Again, it’s amazing what our love for our dogs can spark.  This time, it’s all thanks to Joey, a lab/pointer mix rescue.  We all have a weakness for our dogs’ adorable, sad eyes they give us when they beg, but in this case, Joey’s eyes helped start a pet food business. 

His human parents wanted to keep him healthy and satisfied, so they began Castor & Pollux.  What I absolutely love about this organization is that they give back.  To date, they have fed over 3 million meals to shelter and foster pets.  In addition, they partner with non-profit pet rescue organizations. 

I always use any goodies as treats for the dogs.  And, it’s a win-win situation when the treat cleans their teeth and gums at the same time!  Bender, my sister’s German Sheppard mix, loved these braids and curls (and they lasted a decent amount of time before he finished them off)!

Most importantly, when my dogs like something, I like it too (usually)!  And, you can’t beat it when the product is healthy and good for them.  These rawhides provided quite a bit of tasty amusement for Bender (I couldn’t help but give him both the braids and curls because he’s such a good dog)!
